Smaller Engine Efficiency

As we know, the goal has always been to be able to produce the same amount of energy from the combustion engine into a mechanical or electrical smaller engine. To achieve this, one must consider the efficiency of the combustion process, engine power to weight ratio, and innovation of engine design. Obviously, it has been a continuous effort for engine manufacturers to improve engine combustion efficiency. Valvetrain component design is a part of it. A common approach is to reduce the engine weight including valvetrain components to reduce the dynamic energy used for engine moving parts to gain engine output energy. Needless to say, it is imperative to utilize proper alloys with both corrosion and wear-resistant properties as well.
