60 YEARS IN BUSINESS L. E. Jones Company celebrates its 60th year in business. This Menominee, MI. company comprised of 200 proud employees, continues to lead in the production of precision castings that function as valve seat inserts for heavy duty engine use. The Company's vast knowledge in the science of metallurgy has made it possible to offer customers more than 200 alloys. Our industrial technology allows for perfectly machined castings. Installation of a State of the Art labor tracking system has enhanced our ability to accurately cost our product and ensure our customers "on time" delivery. In April of 2000, L. E. Jones Company became the first manufacturing company in the United States to pass the required UL audit for SA8000, as well as, the first company in the world to achieve registered status to the four major quality standards: QS9000, ISO9002, AS9000, and SA8000 (see certifications below). An August, 2001, surveillance audits by Underwriters Laboratories again brought L. E. Jones Company a recommendation for ISO/QS/SA and SA certification. Sixty

Jones completed the installation of Syteline
ERP with LaborTrack. Computerized touch-screens
at each workstation now allow up to the minute
tracking of products through the entire manufacturing
