L.E. Jones Company (LEJ) is pleased to announce that on April 25, 2000 it became the first manufacturing company in the United States to successfully pass the required audit by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) for SA8000 (Social Accountability) registration and has been formally issued certificate (below):

In addition to SA8000, LEJ was registered to QS9000/ISO9002 in 1996 and received a Letter of Conformance to the Aerospace Standard, AS9000 (Aeronautical Standard for aircraft components) in 1999. 

Having accomplished successful certification to this unique standard, L.E. Jones Company becomes the first company in the world to achieve registered status to the four major Quality Standards, QS9000, ISO9002, AS9000, and SA8000.
