L.E. Jones Company employees, family and friends participated in the fifth annual “Da Yooper Plunge” held on New Years Day. Participants raised close to $60,000 to “plunge” into the icy cold waters in support of the DAR Boys and Girls Club and the River Cities Community Pool.
On September 20th, 2014 L.E. Jones hosted their 2nd Annual L.E. Jones softball tournament. This is a much anticipated event as different departments compete against each other. On the week of May 5th, L.E. Jones participated in the Greater Marinette-Menominee YMCA Corporate Challenge, competing against other local businesses. L.E. Jones took 1st place in many events as well as 1st place overall. Some of the events included: Tug-of-war, cake decorating, boat building, scavenger hunt, obstacle course, dodge ball, and bowling.
On January 28, 2014, employees of the L.E. Jones Company participated in a dodge ball tournament held at the Greater Marinette-Menominee YMCA. This is the 2nd year that L.E. Jones has participated. They had two teams and competed against other local businesses taking 2nd and 3rd place!

The L.E. Jones team is proud to be a part of Da Yooper Plunge and able to support our local DAR Boys and Girls Club along with the River Cities Community Pool.
L. E. Jones has been a contributor to the Peninsula Foundation for a number of years with scholarships given in name of Ame & Catherine Vennema and Peter Vennema. Helping our area youth continue their education is a priority and hope to grow this contribution in the future.
In collaboration with the Local Union, UAW 566, we participated in the Toys for Tots Campaign. We donated 40 toys to the children in our local area. In addition to Toys for Tots, LEJ donated to the Union’s Adopt a Family.
